Using this guide you can learn to unsubscribe from the automated non-transactional emails you receive from the Scanova QR Code Generator web application.
For account Owner:
To unsubscribe from the automated emails from Scanova, follow these steps:
- Login to your Scanova account dashboard
- Click on the Profile section on the left panel
- Click on View/Edit, then select the 'Email Preferences' tab next to the Login Method tab
- Under the 'Email Preferences > Email Settings' section, you will get the option to turn 'OFF' the automated emails for each category via the toggle button
Here is the detailed list of Automated email options you can unsubscribe from:
- Unsubscribe from all emails: Using this option, you can stop receiving all non-transactional emails from Scanova. Non-transactional emails are those that are not associated with a particular interaction with the tool, such as marketing or promotional emails. However, you will continue to receive transactional emails
Transactional emails are automated emails triggered by account activity like account creation emails, password reset emails, etc.
By default, this toggle button will be OFF. You can set it to ON to stop receiving all the non-transactional emails
- Subscription Plan: This section allows you to unsubscribe from the 'Plan Expiry Reminder' and the 'Recurring Payment Reminder’ emails
- Billing: If you turn OFF the emails in this section, then you will stop receiving the copies of invoices in your email
- Scan Analytics: If this is set to OFF, then the end-users will not get the option of sending you an email notification after an expired QR Code in your account gets scanned. If this is set ON, then the end-users will be presented with an option to notify you when they scan an expired QR Code of your account.
- Support/Promotional: The notifications from the Scanova Support Team can be stopped using this option. You can stop the Regular Check-in Emails, Promotional Emails, and Weekly Newsletter emails from the support team.
For Shared Users:
The Pro and Enterprise subscribers of Scanova QR Code Generator can add their teammates to access the account dashboard to view, edit, and manage QR Codes and other data based on permission level. Here is a detailed article on How to add teammates to your Scanova account
These shared users can stop receiving the weekly newsletter from the support team. Here is how they can do it:
- Login to your Scanova account dashboard
- Click on the Profile section on the left panel
- Click on View/Edit, then select the 'Email Preferences' tab next to the Login Method tab
- Under the 'Email Preferences > Email Settings' section, the users will get the option to turn OFF or turn ON the email notifications. By default, the preference would be set based on the Owner's choice.
