Use this guide to create a Dynamic QR Code which redirects to a YouTube video using the Scanova QR Code Generator tool.
This QR Code upon being scanned, will redirect the end-users to the destination URL of the video that is hosted on YouTube. Then the end user can watch the video on the YouTube platform. Below are the steps to create a QR Code to display a YouTube Video:
-
Copy the YouTube Video Link: The first step is to copy the link of the YouTube video you want to create the QR Code for. You can do this by going to the video on YouTube and copying the URL from your browser's address bar or by clicking the Copy link option on the Share button
-
Create a Website URL QR Code: To create a QR Code for the YouTube video, choose the Website URL QR Code category. Now, simply paste the YouTube video link into the enter content box to create the QR Code. For details, refer to our detailed guide on How to create a Website URL QR Code
Alternatively, you can also provide the YouTube video link in other QR Code categories such as Wedding, Event, Product, Custom Page, Coupon, or VCard, which have the option to add a 'Video' component on the landing page. You can add multiple video buttons on the landing page (upto 20). Upon scanning, the QR Code will redirect users to a landing page, and the video's thumbnail will be visible for easy identification.
