As an event organizer, managing RSVPs (Responded Invitations) for an event is crucial for understanding event attendance. With Scanova's dashboard, user can not only view RSVP data but also download it for further analysis. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to download RSVP data, helping you streamline the event management process.
A. View RSVP data on the dashboard
Before downloading the RSVP data, it is important to first view it on the dashboard to ensure accuracy.
- Log in to the Scanova account
- Click on 'View/Edit' of the Event/Wedding QR Code
- Scroll Down and Click on the 'Generate' option of 'Download Data'
A notification will be sent to the registered email address with a link to download the report. Download the data of RSVP by clicking on that link.
Alternatively, enable the option to get the RSVP response directly to your email.
Get RSVP via email:
- Login to the Scanova account
- Click on 'View/Edit' of your Event/Wedding QR Code
- Click on View/Edit of the content section
- Under the RSVP bar click on 'Get Email Responses'
- Your registered email id will be added for the rsvp responses
- Click on Apply
B. Why are number of RSVPs less than the number of scans
- The number of scans on the Analytics page shows the count of how many times users have scanned the QR Code and viewed the landing page
- Note that every time the landing page is loaded, irrespective of whether the same user scanned the QR Code again or the user simply refreshed the page, it will be counted as a scan
- RSVPs are sent only if the user has selected a response (accept/decline) and clicked on Submit button. So, it might be possible that the users scanned the QR Code, viewed the landing page but didn't choose to submit a response
In such cases, the number of RSVPs is less than the number of scans.
