This article explains how to use the Bulk Operations feature in Scanova to generate, update, download, and track QR Codes in bulk.
The Bulk Operations feature in Scanova helps users manage large volumes of QR Codes efficiently. It allows bulk generation, bulk updates, and bulk downloads, saving time and reducing manual effort.
Users can create Website URL QR Codes, Business Card QR Codes, Custom Page QR Codes and GS1 QR Codes in batches of 100 or 500, depending on the plan limit.
Note: Bulk Operations is available only in the Pro Plan and Enterprise Plan.
A. Create new bulk operations
To access Bulk Operations:
Log in to the Scanova account
From the left sidebar, click Bulk Operations
Click New Operations
Select the operation type: Generate, Update, or Download
A.1 Generate QR Codes in bulk
The Generate operation allows the creation of multiple QR Codes using a CSV file.
Upload a CSV file containing the required data
Each row in the file represents one QR Code
For Website URL QR Codes, each row includes a URL
For Business Card QR Codes, each row includes contact details
The system processes the file and generates QR Codes in bulk based on the uploaded data.
A.2 Update QR Codes in bulk
The Update operation allows bulk editing of existing Dynamic QR Codes.
Users can:
Update Website URL QR Code content
Update QR Code names and tags
A.2.1 Update QR Code content
This option allows updating the destination URL of Dynamic Website URL QR Codes.
Up to 100 or 500 QR Codes can be updated at a time, depending on the plan
Click View QR List to download the existing QR Code data
Edit the content in the downloaded file
Upload the updated file
Click Update to apply changes in bulk
The new content is reflected instantly after the update is processed.
A.2.2 Update QR Code details
This option allows updating:
QR Code names
QR Code tags
Steps:
Click View QR List to download the list of QR Codes
Edit the names and tags in the file
Upload the updated file
Apply the update
Up to 100 or 500 Dynamic QR Codes (across categories) can be updated at once, depending on the plan limit.
A.3 Download QR Codes in bulk
The Download operation enables downloading multiple QR Codes at once.
Users can download up to 100 or 500 QR Codes per operation
The limit depends on the active subscription plan
B. Track bulk operations
Users can monitor the progress and status of bulk tasks using the Operations Tracking section.
To track operations:
Log in to the Scanova account
Click Bulk Operations from the left sidebar
Select Operations Tracking
The table displays:
Operation type
Status
Date and time
Action options
B.1 Download batches from operations tracking
After generating a batch of Dynamic QR Codes, the same batch can be downloaded in different formats directly from Operations Tracking.
To download a batch:
Log in to the Scanova account
Go to Bulk Operations
Click Operations Tracking
Click the arrow under the Action column
Select the desired format and size
Click Download
A ZIP folder containing the QR Codes is sent via email with a download link.
Progress can also be monitored in the Operations Tracking section.
