Use this guide to know how can your guest can upload documents while registering for an event using the 'Event Registration' feature of the web application Ticket Generator.
You can use this feature to get your guest upload a document related to their registration for an event (e.g. ID Proofs). You can use the uploaded file to approve the registration or for references.
After accessing the Design Registration Page, you can add an Upload Document button on the landing page via which the guest(s) shall be able to upload the required documents. The Upload Document feature is available in the ‘Add:’ section, you can click on the component to add additional Upload Document sections.
The Upload Document box contains the following options:
Document Name: You can enter the name of the document being requested by you
Instruction text: You can enter the instruction text informing the guest(s) about the document that would be uploaded
Upload Document button text: You can also enter the text that you want to display on the button, for example: 'Upload Document' or 'Upload File', etc.
The user can upload a document in the following Formats:
- Documents: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, txt, csv
- Images: png, jpg, jpeg
The Maximum Permitted File size is 20 MB. You can also add a custom instruction text via the Instruction Text box.
Once the guest uploads the required document(s) in the correct format, then the documents are available for viewing and downloading in the Registrations>Event>Registrations Table section of your account Dashboard.
