This article explains how to create and use folders in Scanova to organize QR Codes and manage them efficiently.
Introduction
As the number of QR Codes in your Scanova account grows, managing them in a single list can become difficult. The Folder feature helps organize QR Codes into groups, making it easier to find, manage, and analyze them.
Using folders, you can group QR Codes by campaigns, clients, or use cases without affecting their functionality.
A. Access folders
Follow these steps to access folders:
- Log in to your Scanova account
- From the left sidebar, click on QR Codes
- On the top-right of the screen, locate:
- Create Folder
- Create QR Code
- View existing folders in the Folders section at the top
B. Create a folder
To create a new folder:
- Go to QR Codes
- Click on Create Folder
- Enter the Folder Name
- Click Create
The folder will appear in the folders list immediately
C. Open a folder
To view QR Codes inside a folder:
- Go to QR Codes
- Click on any folder from the folders list
- View all QR Codes within that folder
You can use search, filters, and sorting options inside the folder
D. Move QR Codes to a folder
To add QR Codes to a folder:
- Go to QR Codes
- Select one or more QR Codes using checkboxes
- Click on Move to Folder from the action bar
- Choose a folder from the dropdown
- Click Move
You can also create a new folder during this process using Create New
E. Manage folders
Each folder includes additional options:
- Click on the three-dot menu on a folder
- Choose from the following actions:
Rename
- Update the folder name
View Analytics
- View scan data for all QR Codes in the folder
Delete Folder
- Remove the folder
- QR Codes inside the folder will not be deleted
F. Best practices
- Use clear and consistent naming conventions
- Group QR Codes by campaign, client, etc
- Review folder analytics for performance insights
- Reorganize QR Codes anytime without losing data
