Use this guide to understand the possible reasons for non-scannability of Tickets created using the web application Ticket Generator.
Non-scannability of tickets can be due to two reasons:
- Not using a Ticket Validator App to scan the ticket: If you're the Ticket Generator Account Owner, you can use the Ticket Validator app as an Admin to scan a ticket. Please refer to this guide: How to validate tickets using Ticket Validator app
Note: The account Owner can also add coordinators (Maximum 10 email addresses allowed at a time) to scan the tickets. To add coordinators, follow the steps: Can I add members of the event team to validate tickets?
- Ticket Activation Time has not started: If the Ticket Activation time has not started yet, it will display a pop-up in Ticket Validator application that ticket scanning is not allowed. Once the ticket activation time starts, tickets can then be scanned
