Use this guide to understand why scans recorded by Scanova QR Code Generator in the GPS location data map less than the total number of scans recorded.
If you are looking at the higher-accuracy GPS-scan data chart (on map), it is possible that the total number of scans mapped here are less than the total number of scans recorded by the QR Code.
In general, when a Dynamic QR Code is scanned, scan data is recorded using information sent by the browser. This data is aggregated and shared as total number of scans recorded by the QR Code (Superset).
If you are a Pro user and have enabled the 'Exact GPS location' feature, then for each of these scans, the browser requests a permission from the user to share exact location coordinates. The user has the option of either granting permission or declining. The app then records data for all users who have granted permission (Subset).
Therefore, the difference in recorded scans is due to users who have declined to give permission.
