Use this guide to understand why you should sign-up/login to download your QR Code when using Scanova QR Code Generator.
1. Save and edit your QR Code
Only when you sign-up for a 14-day free trial account with Scanova QR Code Generator, you can create, save, and make changes to your QR Code. This is required as Dynamic QR Codes are linked to the application and an account is required to manage all Dynamic QR Codes you've created. On the other hand, Static QR Codes once generated do not need to be saved. A Static QR Code will continue to work once the QR Code image has been exported.
Note that you cannot create Static QR Codes during the 14-day free trial period of Scanova QR Code Generator. For details, please refer to Can I create a Static QR Code during the free trial?
2. Temporary vs. saved QR Codes
When you create a Dynamic QR Code without signing up for an account or without being logged in, the QR Code will only be a temporary QR Code and will remain active for a couple of hours. Hence, if you do not proceed to signup for an account after creating the QR Code it will expire and cannot be found even if you create an account later.
Please be assured, that you can convert the temporary QR Code into a permanent one by signing up and creating an account immediately after creating the QR Code.
Important: Only download the QR Code image once you've logged in. Do not take a screenshot of the temporary QR Code (the one created without being logged in) as this will stop working after a couple of hours.
