If you're using the web application Ticket Generator to generate event tickets, there are two categories of information that can be mentioned on the ticket:
A. Event Details
You can mention the following details—event name, event description, event dates and timing, time-zone, venue address, and any notes/terms and conditions.
Note that these details will be printed on all tickets if you choose the Standard/Default ticket design. If you choose the Upload Own Design option, you'll need to ensure that these details are already part of your ticket design.
B. Variable Information
Ticket Generator also gives you the option to add variable information that will be unique to each ticket. There are no restrictions here and you can add any information. Commonly used data points are—guest name, ticket price, seat number, seating row, seating section, hall number, booking reference number, guest company name, etc.
Note that during generation of tickets (via the Create Tickets section), you'll need to:
- Add variable information placeholders as part of the ticket design (upto 5 header-value sets)
- Provide this information (for each ticket) either via an inline editor or via CSV/MS-Excel upload
Note that apart from the two categories of information mentioned above, each ticket will also have a QR Code and ticket code that is required for validation of the ticket.
