Yes. If you're using the Ticket Generator web application to generate tickets and Ticket Validator mobile apps to validate tickets, then it is possible for guests to re-enter the venue in a secure way.
Here is how it works:
- When a genuine guest enters the venue the first time with a valid ticket, a coordinator will scan the QR Code. This will mark the ticket as 'Used'
- Then the same guest attempts to exit the venue (temporarily), the coordinator can scan the QR Code again. Since the ticket has already been 'Used', the coordinator now has the option to 'Grant Re-Entry' or 'Mark as Duplicate'
- If the coordinator marks the ticket for re-entry, the ticket will once again have 'Valid' status
- When the guest attempts to re-enter the venue, the coordinator can scan the QR Code and check the if the ticket is valid (which it will be)
